Bearettes Auditions
The Three TIme United States National Grand Champion Burley Women's Chorus a.k.a. "The Bearettes" is holding auditions for the 2010-2011 school year.
Auditions are easy and fun, and are open to ALL Burley young women regardless of age, grade, or experience. Sign up outside of Mr. Jennings' Room #107. Auditions begin Tuesday, September 7 and will continue through September 17.

Burley Jazz Band Auditions
Jazz Band auditions will take place on Monday September 20 at 8:00am before school starts. ANY student on ANY instrument is welcome to audition. Students will be able to sign up for a five minute time slot beginning the week prior to the audition. If you cannot make this time, contact Mr. LaPrade to schedule an audition at an alternate time. However, be aware that Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00am - 9:00am. will be the normal rehearsal time for jazz band.

The 7th and 8th grade band will be traveling to Monticello High School on Friday, September 24 to participate with the MHS Marching Band at their home football game.. This is a REQUIRED trip. An info sheet regarding this trip will be sent home on Wednesday September 1. Transportation and food is provided.
