United States Citizenship Test Preparation

Helps students learn about and prepare for the test for United States citizenship and answers questions about the naturalization process.

For ESOL students who wish to improve their opportunities for employment or advancement within their current postition. Job skills, interview protocol, resumes, email etiquette and other skills necessary for success in the workplace.
ESOL Advanced Academic Skills
(Intermediate to Advanced Skill Levels)

Tuition: $125 (no charge for currently enrolled Albemarle Adult Education ESOL students).
For ESOL students interested in entering institutions of higher learning in the United States. Provides instructional activities designed to help develop the skills necessary for academic success in reading, writing, listening and speaking English. Not specifically a TOEFL preparation class, but will give students the tools and practice necessary to score well on this test.
