This listing is for the sole use of Woodbrook Elementary School and the Woodbrook PTO.

What is the PTO?

The PTO is an organization made of PARENTS and TEACHERS for the purpose of supporting Woodbrook School. If you are a parent or a teacher you are a member! The Woodbrook PTO provides all of its members the opportunity to be involved in our children's education. It allows you to be more up-to-date on what is happening at school, you will meet and become friends with many parents who share your hopes and concerns and most importantly your involvement will have a positive affect on your child's school experience.

To keep you informed the PTO will send home monthly newsletters via back pack express. Information that needs to get to you before the next letter will be sent home as well. All PTO info will come home on yellow paper. There is also a PTO bulletin board in the school foyer with current information. This year we are excited about the introduction of the E-Newsletter. Check out NEWSLETTERS link on Woodbrook home page to learn more or to subscribe!!! This will be a very timely way to get school and PTO news to you. Talking to a PTO Board Member is another great way to find out what is happening.  Board Member names and numbers are on every newsletter as well as the PTO bulletin board. We encourage you to contact us, as your opinion is important.

PTO meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Woodbrook School. Some meetings will feature a guest speaker that will share information that is relevant to families with school age children. You are encouraged to attend these meetings.

The Volunteer Effort

The PTO is completely run by volunteers. There are many types of volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. No matter what amount of time you can give to the PTO efforts, your help is greatly appreciated. Be aware of requests for volunteers that will be publicized through the year and take advantage of the opportunity to be involved in your school community. A Volunteer Survey was sent home at the beginning of the year with descriptions of many volunteer needs.
