Parent Seminar
for Driver Education
Albemarle County  

Before students, younger than 18, can register for Behind-the-Wheel training, a parent/guardian must first attend a free Parent Seminar and receive their certificate of attendance. Parents/students must turn in this certificate when registering for Behind the Wheel.  It is up to you to keep your certificate safe until you use it to register .   Parents need only attend once if they have more than one child.

Notice: It is recommended parents attend the seminar about the time their student gets a learners permit.

Parents may attend a free seminar at any school and receive an attendance certificate. Choose the date and location that is most convenient. (Signs at each school will direct you to room.) To register you can go on-line at http://www.opendoors1.org/ (the class number is 5001 and choose a date) or you can call 975-9450.
