Using Integrade Pro at Home

So...you would like to work on your grades at home?  Here's what you need to do...

1. Make sure you have a copy of Integrade Pro on the computer you are using.

To verify this you can go to Start - All Programs and look for Integrade Pro.  Integrade Pro is typically run over the network from the Menu Drive.  In order to use Integrade Pro at home it must be installed on the machine you are taking home.  If it is listed under All Programs then you are ready to go.  Please contact your CTIP for a copy of the software to install on your home computer.

2. Copy your gradebook files off the network.

To transfer the files to a thumb drive (a.k.a. jump drive, usb drive):

Login to any school computer.

Insert your thumb drive.

Open your gradebook as you would normally. (Start - My Computer - Menu - Integrade Pro)

After your gradebook is open click on the File Menu and Choose Save As.

Change the save location to your thumb drive and click Save.

To transfer the files to a school laptop:

Login to the laptop you are taking home.  Make sure it is a checkout laptop and not a student laptop (from a cart).  Student laptops do not function away from the network.

Open your gradebook.  Make sure that Integrade Pro is installed on the laptop!  See #1

Choose File and Save As

Change the Save Location to the Dekstop

Click Save.

3. Open your gradebook at home.

Open Integrade Pro (Start Menu - All Programs - Integrade Pro)

When you are finished be sure to Save.

4. Transfer Files Back to the Server

Log into any school computer or the laptop you checked out to take home.

Insert your thumb drive.  (If applicable.)

Open Integrade Pro

Choose open gradebook stored on My Computer.

Change the open location to the desktop or your thumb drive and open your gradebook.

Once your gradebook is open...

Click on the File Menu and Choose Save As

Change the Save Location to the I drive (024) and then your teacher number.

Click Save.  Choose Yes to overwrite any existing files.
