The Woody Bear Awards are peer recognitions and acknowledgements.  Woody Bear moves all around the school spending time with faculty and staff.  Students and Staff look forward to learning where Woody will go next!

WOODY BEAR TO VISIT THE SPEECH ROOM...

WOODY BEAR HAS HAD A BLAST IN SECOND GRADE. WE'RE VERY SAD TO SEE HIM GO, BUT HE"LL BE JUST FINE WITH MR. JOE

Mr. Joe is quite the guy,

Right there when we need him-never asking why.

He's not that big or that tall

And yet he continues to do it ALL!!!

  WOODY FOLLOWS HIS NOSE TO HIS NEW HOME WITH MS. BROOKS
 Ms. Brooks is a staff member who has made an immediate, positive impact on our school community already in a very short time.
Anyone who is going to be successful at Woodbrook has to do that!
Ms. Brooks is someone who works with all of us- teachers, students, staff.  She greets us, she feeds, us and she smiles.
Ms. Brooks, thank you for your teamwork and your smile!

MS. FOX AWARDS WOODY TO MS. JASPER

Just last year I was student teaching at this very school.
I had such a blast, I thought, "Wow, this place is cool!"
I spent my days working over in the fourth grade,
It was there with this teacher that I learned the tricks of the trade,
Everyday she offered me guidance, support, and endless advice.
I knew this was the school for me, I didn't even think twice.
For all that she did, it's hard to repay her,
But now with this bear, I say THANKS to Mrs. Jasper.

WOODY MOVES TO FIRST GRADE

Woody Bear has had an exciting time in the library.  He attended the fall
book fair, had stories read to him by many students, and got hugs from all
of the Bright Stars.  He encouraged the students to Be Excited About Reading(BEAR)!  And now it's time for Woody Bear to move down the hall to Ms.Sherry Remley, who is positive, encouraging, and a very hardworking teacher. 

Have fun in first grade, Woody!

She deals with our problems throughout the day,
We are so happy when she comes our way.
She has training in conflict resolution
And she's always happy to make a contribution.
As our school counselor, she is great
But more than that, she is our friend.
