: Albemarle County Public Schools The 2009-10 adopted budget continues major restructuring efforts that were begun as a result of the 2007 Resource Utilization Study , and through the Division's continued Baldrige Quality initiative . While maintaining a focus on our Strategic Plan and protecting our core work taking place between teachers and students in classrooms every day, the funding request includes significant reductions to centralized support services. It includes no new initiatives and no salary, step or merit increases for classified staff or teachers, freezing salaries at 2008-09 levels.
