Our History...
Located in the beautiful foothills of the the Blue Ridge Mountains in the White Hall District of Albemarle County, Joseph T. Henley Middle School sits just outside of the rural town of Crozet, Virginia on Route 250 West. Nearly 750 students attend classes at our school each day. Instructional facilities include a library and media center, four computer labs, a cafeteria, band and chorus rooms, an art room, a gymnasium, and our unique student gathering space, the Henley Hive. Intramural athletics, as well as numerous clubs and activities, are offered throughout the school year. Henley Middle School originally opened its doors to students in 1966. Ongoing expansion and growth in our area of the county prompted a school renovation in 1999, which enabled us to update and add new learning spaces while increasing our enrollment capacity. |
