We're Going to The Fringe ... with your help!

The AHS Players, a student actor troupe, has again earned the prestigious honor of being nominated for the American High School Theatre Festival that is held as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the largest and most prestigious theatre and arts festival in the world.

Proceeds from the 9/30 performance go to AHS Players to fund their performances in Scotland.

Not only have the students been nominated for the festival by members of the university and professional theatre community, they are one of only 58 high schools in the entire United States to be selected to perform with some of the best troups from across the world during the festival in August 2010.

We need your help to make this trip "across the pond" and take our shows on the road. Our students deserve the chance to showcase their talents in front of some of the most important players in the theatrical world, and to gain the experience that can launch careers in acting. Each student must raise nearly $6000 to cover the cost of travel, lodging, food, and the rental of stages, props, costumes and lighting and sound equipment to produce their show.

We greatly appreciate our community's support of the performing arts and thank you for helping to  "MAKE IT HAPPEN!"
