Inclement Weather Policy & Procedure

If school is closed due to inclement weather, we make up the color of the day we missed when we return.   For example, should we miss a full Blue Day (Periods 2, 4, 6, 8) we will return to a Blue Day, and likewise if we miss a full Red Day (Periods 1, 3, 5, 7), we return to a Red Day.  Remember , once students arrive at school, that day counts regardless of the amount of time students actually attend classes.   

The Albemarle County calendar includes eight make up dates for inclement weather:  June 16, & 17  respectively.
