Volunteer Policy

If you would like to volunteer in our school, there is an application process that the school board has recommended and put in place for every school. Volunteers cannot come into our building until their application, photo I.D., and background checks have been received, checked, and completed.

Please download the Volunteer Handbook and Application below, complete the forms and submit them to Kristin Vargas, the MHS Main Office Associate.  Ms. Vargas will notify you once you are approved to volunteer in the Albemarle County Schools.  Please do not plan to volunteer without completing this process.  We must follow the school board's policy.  Ms. Vargas may be reached at 244-3100 or kvargas@k12albemarle.org
