2009 Albemarle County Adult Ed GED Graduates!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LOCAL GED GRADUATES!
On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 we celebrated GED graduates from across Central Virginia, including several Albemarle County Adult Education students.  We are so proud of their accomplishments and wish them the best of luck!

For over 30 years Albemarle County's Office of Adult and Migrant Education and the Families in Crisis program has provided instructional services to adult residents of Central Virginia. Our affordable services help adults improve their basic skills, prepare for and take the GED exam, learn English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and learn basic computer skills.

Additionally, we offer Workplace Training, Citizenship and Business classes, Migrant and Homeless Education and other services as needed.  Our services are open to all residents of Central Virginia and are not limited to residents of Albemarle County.

We believe that Learning is Lifelong - it is NEVER too late to further your education and become a successful employee, parent and member of the community.
