My name is Erica Payne I am so excited to start the new school year!  I can't wait to hear about the adventures the children had this summer.  

I have a BA in Literature and Communications from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.  I have a Masters in Library Science from Queens College in Flushing, NY.  I have also taken a variety of graduate classes in Instructional Technology at both Pace University and Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.  For the past few months, I have participated in an eTeacher Pilot Program through UVA.  The classes have helped me to learn more about using Web 2.0 resources with students. 

This is my tenth year working as a Media Specialist.  I worked at the high school level for three years in New York and the elementary level for five years in Michigan.
