1. We regret to inform you that the H1N1 vaccine Clinic scheduled for this Friday, 11/13, has been cancelled due to the lack of available vaccine. A new date has not been determined as of yet, but we will inform you as soon as we have a new date. We are continuing to ask that you notify us if you make other arrangements for your child(ren) so that we can keep an accurate count of the number of students needing to receive the vaccine.
2. The 8th grade science demonstration will take place on Tuesday, November 24th in the cafeteria starting at 2:30 PM.
3. In preparation for the band concert on Thursday, December 10th at 7:00 PM, band students will have morning rehearsals. The schedule is as follows:
- November 31st, Jazz Band, 8AM
- December 1st, ALL 7th GRADERS, 8AM
- December 2nd, Jazz Band, 8AM
- December, 7th, Jazz Band. 8AM
- December 8th. ALL 7th Graders, 8AM
- December 9th, Jazz Band, 8AM
- December 10th, ALL 7th Graders, 8AM
There will be NO 8th grade band rehearsals, and 6th graders will not be performing. The may come to concert for extra credit. They must bring signed program to school the next day they have band class, and put it in the practice chard box.
4. Don't forget to keep collecting Box Tops for Education! Box Tops are on all General Mills products and each year earn money that our school can use for technology, enrichment activities and much more. Also, if you register at boxtopsforeducation.com, you'll earn an instant 5 box tops. Just click on "The Power of One" to get started. In January, the PTO will hold a contest for Box Tops collections. The class with the most Box Tops will earn a pizza party! We'll have a second collection in May and more chances to win prizes. Thank you for supporting our school!
