Luck Stone Neighbors Donate Time and Help Spruce Up SRE!
Prior to the winter break, our neighbors at Luck Stone spent several Thursdays at Stone-Robinson working on some much needed projects. Some of these projects included: painting a mural on the rock wall in the gym, hanging cork strips outside of classrooms in the hallways, painting adult bathrooms with brightly colored accent walls, painting hopscotch outlines on the playground blacktop, building boxes for 2nd - 5th grade playground equipment, building picnic tables and a patio outside the 4th grade classrooms, mulching underneath playground swings, as well as building steps to the upper playground. All of these projects were completed by our Luck Stone friends and volunteers during the school day. We enjoyed sharing our day with them and especially appreciated their happy demeanors as they helped to make these meaningful improvements to our school! Thank you Luck Stone!
