Due to the forecast of a heat index between 100-105 this afternoon, today’s Ragged Mountain Cup has been postponed to next Tuesday, September 7^th.  First race is at 5:00pm.

FALL ATHLETES:  This is a reminder that in order to be eligible to participate in regular season competition (starting this Friday, Aug. 27), all fall athletes must submit to the WAHS Athletic Department:

1. The $75 ACPS Sports Participation Fee (Check made out to “Western Albemarle High School” with athlete’s name in “Memo”)

AND

2. A signed “WAHS Signature Sheet” (Parent and Athlete signature required)

 We would appreciate receiving both as soon as possible!!

Sports Physicals :  All Athletes must complete and submit a VHSL Sports Physical Form to the WAHS Athletic Office prior to participating in tryouts or practices.  All Students interested in participating in VHSL athletics must have a completed VHSL physical dated after May 1, 2010 on file in the WAHS athletic Office. FALL WEIGHT ROOM OPEN HOURS:  Starting August 30 - Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. 

Supervision will be provided.  Anyone interested must have a VHSL physical form on file with the WAHS athletics department
